JUTE COMPANY-IN-RESIDENCE: Pop Robot Theatre Present 'JUICE'

4 August 2011 - 6 August 2011

JUTE Theatre Company's 2011 company in residence Pop Robot Theatre present:
JUICE by Stephen Davis

JUICE is a powerful play as playwright Stephen Davis shines a spotlight on the dangers of drinking and the consequences that follow.  As each character recounts the details of that tragic night, the audience is invited to reflect on their own experiences with alcohol, and to imagine how they would cope if they were forced to surrender their childhood.

'JUICE' by Stephen Davis
It’s the end of Grade 10. Rodney, a fifteen-year-old boy, and his group of school friends want to celebrate and have a paddock party. With the help of two casks of cheap wine, a telling game of truth or dare, and a dead canary, the group experience a night that will leave each of them scarred with guilt and regret.
