"To say that Roz Pappalardo’s accomplishment as playwright, actor and singer is a tour de force is an understatement. The audience was blown away as was I, by the audacity of the enterprise and the brilliant way it was carried off. Fortunately, Simon Hapea is every bit a match for his co-actor. Simon slips in and out of these roles like a hot knife through butter, using the platforms and panels on the set, and a simple costume adjustment to achieve the metamorphosis in seconds.

This is one of the most impressive and most diverse offerings that JUTE has ever created for Cairns audiences. With a long tradition (nearly 20 years) of well-attended professional productions, the company can rightly be proud of its unique achievements in telling us our own stories with panache. In presenting Two 4 One, the company has surpassed expectations. It is "must-see” theatre."

"A mixed bag - different & unique theatre experience"
"Wonderfully talented performances from both"
"Great storytelling, true to life"
"Bizarre, lively, witty & confronting"

"I would just like to say that I attended opening night for the Two 4 One event and it was excellent. Ros was fantastic and Simon outstandingly clever and brilliant. I will be telling the world about these highly talented people and JUTE Theatre!"

(Sue Wickes, July 16)

"JUTE Theatre Company in association with Paronella Park present 'Two 4 One' in Cairns. We had the pleasure of attending the Opening night last night. Outstanding production - world class. Don't miss it."

(Mission Beach Tourism – Queensland Australia, July 16)

"Pappalardo’s voice is powerful & she sings her original songs with great passion. The audience seemed mesmerised… Hapea, a consummately professional performer, brought the audience roaring through three colourful characters in quick succession.'Two 4 One' makes for a diverse night of top class theatre and you’d be mad to miss it"
